Thank you!
I actually made them because of a request I received on my requests post (http://senseless-icons.livejournal.com/3204.html). I'm a huge classic movie lover, but I wasn't particularly familiar with June. Having learned so much about her from online research and looking through so many photos of her I want to have a "June in July" marathon - I'm going to Netflix a bunch of her movies throughout the month. Since you're a June connoisseur which of her movies are must-sees? ("Little Women" is already on the list - the book was my favorite growing up, but the only movie version I've seen is the newer, Winona Ryder one).

Oh, the Winona version is SO bad! :/ June's and Katharine Hepburn's are just so great! Good News is a great one, ALL of the movies she did with James Stewart! ♥ I liked The Glenn Miller Story the best, The Three Muskateers, will make you laugh and cry! But I really wanted to slap June's character in that one! The Secret Heart was amazing! Thats probobly my favorite so get that one first! :D um...I can't think of anymore. lol
I haven't seen Blackout yet, b/c it looks scary. HAHAH. If I think of another good one, I'll let you know.
Oh, and since your a fan of classic movies in general, you should see Till The CLouds Roll By. June Allyson, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Lucille Bremer, and a LOT of others are in it!

I don't like Winona at all! But Kirsten Dunst is even worse!
OK, I added Good News, The Glenn Miller Story, The Three Muskateers, Blackout and The Stratton Story, as well as Little Women. Netflix doesn't have The Secret Heart :( I'll find it somewhere else though. And I also added Till The Clouds Roll By. That looks amazing!

Oh, darn! The Secret Heart is like the only movie of hers where she doesn't play the innocent, "girl next door" type of thing, and she did AMAZING! :D They play it on TCM all the time, so you can catch it there. lol

Hey, I got that message you sent me, but LJ won't let me respond (either that or my inability to operate this site is becoming more apparent!), so how do you want to send the files to me? This is my email: gemmigina4@yahoo.com. Can you send them there?

OK, is it just me or is there no "reply" button or "open" button anyway on the whole page?: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh283/gemmigina1/Picture5.png

I see your message there but there's no way to open it, and if it's already open there's no way to respond. lol.

Ok, quick update! lol I just saw 2 Girls and a Salior, on TCM yesterday, and it was really good! When June sings "Young Man With A Horn" it was SO great! :D If you like cute musicals you'll like that one.

Oops. I got so excited that we live in the same state I forgot to respond to the rest of the comment! :P

"You Can't Run Away From It" looks interesting. "It Happened One Night" is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I'm anxious to see what this remake will be like.

I've watched "The Three Muskateers" and "The Stratton Story." I loooooved her so much in "The Stratton Story." She really carried the film. What a great wife Mrs. Stratton was! And seeing Morty and the baby learn to walk at the same time ... it just melted my heart!

Oh, it's OK! Disregard my comment I just sent you making sure you have my right email address then. I hadn't seen this one yet.

Yea, The Stratton Story is a very touching film. Especially that part. The part when Jimmy shot is leg, was so predictable, though, but he plays it so well. Def. one of my favorite actors.
I live in San Francisco. pretty far away from you. :[ But I think the times on TCM are the same for you. lol.
and I LOVE It Happened One Night, so Im anxious to c this onea swell. :D

Oh, I forgot to mention, in You Can't Run Away From It, the only thing that wasn't good, was June wasn't singing. She lip synced to somebody else, and its REALLY bad. She would've sounded so much better. :/

I watched it last night. She was adorable in it. And her scarecrow dance was great! Besides June's performance I didn't like the movie much.
